Damage to critical components, such as rolling bearings in axis feed drives or spindles, are frequent causes of unplanned downtime and increased maintenance costs.
The digital twin we present here enables predictive maintenance by determining the remaining useful life of critical components. The current degree of wear of the individual components is determined based on the real current load while considering the previous course. Thanks to this, preventive measures and the time of their implementation can be individually set.
